| In my defense all I can say is you purchased a used clutch/flywheel setup from me. You were fully aware that this setup had been drag raced upon, and albeit only having 1000 miles, it had many high rpm clutch dumps on it using drag slicks. Up to the day I removed that clutch from the car (the same day I consequently parted the entire VG setup out) the car ran and drove just fine. The weekend I took it to the track the car went out and ran 11.2@124 (my actual fastest recorded time last year) Neither of us measured the clutch material before or after the purchase so I cannot say how much life it had. I just know that you were looking for a clutch/flywheel setup Asap so you could get your car back on the road, and you didnt want to purchase a new one. You bought this one knowing that it was not a brand new one and should not be expected to last anywhere near the amount of a new one, especailly considering the abuse it had, it was just meant to get your car back on the road I'd like to conclude that you purchased that clutch from me back in june/july of 06 and I or anyone else has anyway of knowing you didnt actually install that clutch and wear it down. I realize that may not have happened, but waiting this long to bring this issue public, really has no bearing or can aid the situation.
