it seems simple, but trust me, it's a pain in the ass. if you're going to use filler, make sure the area you're going to apply the filler to is BARE METAL and free of all oils and dirt. filler wont stick to paint. IT WILL EVENTUALLY crack and peel off. Anywhere that has filler MUST BE PRIMED. since you have a metallic paint, you're going to need a special "fade out" thinner. this will allow you to spray color over the areas in a thin enough layer as to allow match up the metallic. This is seriously difficult... even for me, and i've been repainting cars for 4 years. I still hate pearls and metallics. you can do it, but you need to take your time and do your homework.
