primer or sealer, basecoat and then clear. you're going to have to sand off the existing clearcoat and make sure the paint you're going to use is compatible with the underlying paint. If it's not, you'll get something that resembles the skin of a raisin. 9 times out of 10, shops will sand down the existing paint, use a sealer (this is a barrier that isolates the existing paint from the new paint) then spray color then clear. go to your local paint supplier and see what they tell you. It's a great paint system and the instructions make it easy. I'm trying to find the spec sheets on their site, but i can't find them... your paint shop will have them if you ask.
