The security light in the instrument cluster usually flashes when the car is closed. But it wasnt flashing today. I have a remote entry alarm on the car (really shitty i got it when i bought the car), i disconnected the horn that came with the alarm so only the remote entry works. Heres my probmlem though, i saw that the security light wasnt flashing so i used the remote entry and unlocked the doors. When i opened the door, the car went apeshit and started flashing the lights and the horn went off for like 2 minutes. i didnt know how to shut if off, i tried closing the car and putting the key in the ignition (wouldnt start either cause of security)... nothing worked. so i just waited until it shut off. this is the first time this has happened to me. i dont know what to do and dont wanna mess around with it and disturb the whole neighborhood. i dunno if the security light not flashing when closed has something to do with it...... TIA.
