It was the blade of the edger hitting the concrete that sent sparks flying right into the wheel...make sense? Plus we have the curbs that just kind of roll into the street. Curb rash is one thing, this looks like melted paint. But back to my original question: Has anyone had just 1 (one) wheel wheel re-finished? I am curious about the color match. I know with a car, a paint shop can reference the manufacturer's paint codes. Do they just kind of eyeball the color to get it to match? I want to do this right so I don't have the oddball wheel that will forever bug me because the color doesn't match the other 3. Because then it will be a constant reminder of my idiot neighbor and the stupid, baffled look on his face when I asked him if he had edged next to my car and why on God's green earth did he not just take the 15 second freaking walk to ask me to move it out of the way. I swear; some people's kids!!!
