Message	It doesn't "kick in" very much though on my 1990. It has shown time and again to increase slalom speeds in magazine reviews. Supposedly the system changed from hydraulic to electric mid model and engages more quickly in electric form and was "retuned", but I am no HICAS expert. The Skyline guys have it to and they don't remove it for the most part. I'll keep mine despite the extra weight and complexity it adds to the car.
