Message	but can be interpreted by some to suggest that the user of the term is uneducated. Maybe that's why it bothers people. Also, you're on a national (and for that matter, international) forum here. When I lived in Louisiana, I heard the word regularly. When I moved up here to Virginia, well, I really can't recall the last time I heard that word used... Possibly back in Louisiana. So it's going to sound weird to some people on this forum. You don't have to live in a bubble just because someone else caught the flu.
