| Message | Ive got quite a bit on the slate for my Z this season, and I have yet to come to a complete decision on many aspects. One thing Im considering is to go with the JWT Mild Racing cams. I drive a 1991 NA slicktop, last summer I had to replace the engine so Im running an engine with 50K miles (still NA) and a tranny that was recently rebuilt. As for what kind of work Ive done so far, Im running a JWT Pop Charger, EGR Deleted, Megan Racing Headers, Stillen Exhaust, and I will probably gut my cats early this summer. Plans for any engine work, Im going to get a UR pulley set and possibly a Fidanza lightened flywheel. My question is, will the JWT cams be a worthwhile upgrade? My Z is pretty much daily driven in the summer, so drivability is somewhat important. However, I will be at the track a few times (Branson Z Fest, Midwest Z Fest; my local club ZoNE is hosting in Omaha, wooh) and aside from that, it would be nice to be able to keep up with my friends with GT Mustangs and VR4s a little better than I currently do. Also, Im a college student at ISU (not cheap being an out-of-state student) so a TT conversion will not happen until I graduate cause I cannot afford the maintenance or the insurance. I just need to know if the cams would be worthwhile or if the difference is too miniscule to waste my time. Thanks again for the continued advice! Justis
