Message Almost all posts I've seen regarding using injector cleaner and injectors dying involve old injectors. I've used injector cleaner before with no problems. Let's face it most of the parts on our cars are 10 years old or more. So when someone does something different and a part just happens to break.....clearly it was the additive not the old part just going out after a long period of time....right?

I think injector cleaners for the most part do very little. Still I will get some every time I do an oil change, and put it in the tank. It's more worthwhile in my opinion to drain the fuel tank once every couple years. It's easy to do on our cars and the 2 drain bolts use the same crush washers as our oil pans (I believe).
