Message	Don't half ass it. To me, it's better to have a reliable 400-450HP Z than a Z that constantly breaks,leaks,smokes,misses and blows up. Look around tech section and see how many people that have not a clue try to fix there own cars and have tons of problems that they cannot fix and end up giving up on the whole thing or have a car they have not driven in 3 years. I am all for someone trying to fix there own car but if you have no previous knowledge give yourself plenty of time, Matter of fact don't even set a time limit it could be years. Expect problems and headaches Expect to break things Budget "atleast" 20% over what you think you need for all your parts. Trust me all the little shit, Gaskets, hoses, spark plugs ect. adds up to a big, expensive extra. My .02
