| separator that can be part of maintenance. Having copper scouring pads in the valve cover will work for the short term. But after thousands of miles, varnish, sludge will build up on the scouring pad and will reduce airflow. This build up can occur fast from cold start ups and cold air condensation of water vapor. You would have to take the intake manifold off and the valve cover off to clean it out or replace it. If you put an inline filter that you can maintain easily and compact in size the would be sweet. I search online for PCV filter and found this guy's DiY inline filter. It is a little extreme but you get the picture. [ http://bernardembden.com/xjs/pcvfilter/ ] Some of the GM LS1 guys use inline disposable fuel filters for PCV filter. You change them out every oil change or until you find there is little suction.
