I think. Pre running the track is extremely beneficial no matter how it's done. On video or better yet in person. Yes, he's going to have all the n00b stuff going on about learning to brake, turn, and accelerate.... but if he knows where he's at on the track when he's having to do all this stuff it makes it easier to concentrate on doing it instead of worrying about if the next turn over that hill is a left or a right. Ask Nixit how I know this is true... If you watch video beforehand and you're a n00b, hopefully the person that's driving knows the line and isn't some random spare w/ a camera. More then likely I would ignore their position on the track and just watch the video to get the lay of the land - brake very hard, slow tight left, right, hill, wide right, left, downhill, wide left, uphill straight, insanity, short downhill straight, brake hard, tight right, uphill straight... (name that track Guapo!) Good luck canuck!
