 As we have done each previous year I am again opening up the "Tix for Pix" program to the aspiring photographers of the TTNet community. Below, you will find a link to an Excel spreadsheet which lists all of the events Down Shift is available to secure press passes/credentials for. Several of the races/events are already scheduled so those are unavailable. If you are interested in shooting a race or event in exchange for a ticket and press pass credential there are a few criteria that must be met. Hardware Reqs: 1.) You must be shooting on a DSLR camera. (Examples: Nikon D2X, D200, D70, Canon 5D, 30D, etc...)
2.) For Races a lens capable of 200mm or greater (Fixed or Zoom)
3.) For Events a wide angle lens (Example 18-70)
4.) For Night/Indoor events an external flash is preferred. (Example Nikon SB600) Aptitude: If you are interested in shooting an event/race please submit a sample of your photography for review. We're not looking for pros persay but we need to be assured of your general aptitude with the camera.
