Message	There are specific models that work with manual transmission vehicles. With the unit I have, you have to pull up your parking brake, hit the start button on the remote, pull the key out of your ignition (the engine will still be running), get out of your car, shut the door and then hit the lock button on the remote. This will shut off the car and keep it in "ready" mode. This way, the unit knows that you have the parking brake up and the car is not in gear. If you unlock and open the door without starting, it turns off the ready mode and you cannot start your car from the button.
