Message Considering the increasing number of "got into a crash today" posts that we're seeing on this forum, I am beginning to think that people have begun to lose their common sense. And I'm talking about a real accident in the true sense of the word, where it was an event of complete chance and nothing could have been done to prevent it. In all seriousness, I don't think that most drivers understand or even respect the amount of power that their cars have, TTZ or not.

Whatever happened to just enjoying the drive without feeling the need to race, especially on the highway? I personally enjoy just taking a midnight drive when there's no more traffic, boosting here and there, just to clear my head. There was one time a BMW kept harassing me, flashing its blinkers, trying to get me to race. It pissed me off, and I'm sure I could have given it a run, but I just ignored it. What I didn't notice was the wanna-be racer nearby with the video camera, hoping to get their next youtube post. Idiots!

Whatever happened to listening to that "little voice" inside of your head telling you not to drive when the conditions are bad? Do people not learn from their mistakes or from reading about what's happened to others? I hydroplaned once in my NA Z, causing the car to do a 180 on a freeway on-ramp, and have been as careful as ever with my TT.

As Z drivers, we need to be all the more careful with the fewer and fewer Zs remaining on the road. Don't give in to every wanna-be racer that comes up to you with flashing blinkers. Our cars have an incredible heritage of racing on the track, so let's follow suit and keep it there! I truly believe that true Z drivers are a different breed--we have enough control over ourselves and our cars, enough to resist the urge to race on the highway or drive when it is obviously unsafe to do so.

Thanks for listening to my rant.
