When I was looking to buy a Z, I bid on a pristine one on Ebay - last July. The price went higher than I wanted to go, and I came in second. A week later I got an official looking email with Ebay logos all over it, that gave me a "second chance" offer, since the first place bidder had bailed supposedly. Well, the guy said he was moving to England, so could I please sent the money there - but it would all be handled through Ebay, to make sure everything was secure. By the way, the freight was going to be free. I slept on it, and was about to go to the bank, when I decided to ask Ebay if all this was legit. They said the guy had set up spoof internet addresses with Ebay in the title along with other stuff. You know the rest of the story...so buyer beware. If the deal is too good to be true and your internal alarms go off, check before sending $. Thank goodness, I did.
