Message It was brought to my attention that a friend of mine who read a Z1 install guide they have online that he installed it all wrong..

Z1 HICAS install guide

1)Notice how they installed the HICAS bar on backwards? They are machined offset to keep the rubber boot clearance of most exhaust systems.

2)They reused the factory HICAS bolts for the HICAS aluminum delete bar, thats a no no. There is a reason why these bars come with new 50mm long bolts, these are because the bar is alot thicker then the factory Hicas rack. If you use the factory bolts they dont thread far enough in, this could lead to the rack coming loose or coming off.

3) I also noticed no mention of blue loctite thats highly recommended for the HICAS bar bolts.

If a write up is to be made, it should be made properly so it can be safe for the end user. Just my 2 cents....
