1. much easier to work on all around. no pulling a goddamn motor to change turbos. no removing intake plenum to change injectors. 100% easier to work on than the VG (in place) 2. the 2.6L vs 3.0L displacement/torque is outweighed by the revability of the motor. 9k stock, tits.
#1 is huge to me... and the motor has just as much potential if not more than the VG. how many main bearings does the VG have? thats the weak spot.
downfalls 1. limited parts availability (but not really too much worse than the vg) 2. work involved to getting the swap done (wiring, fabbing, electrical)
