Subject	Pads for racing day

Message	I'm going to a track event at Houston's MSR course in a couple of weeks and a friend suggested getting racing pads just for the day. I recently upgraded my stock brake system with the following: Brembo slotted & dimpled rotors, stainless lines, master cylinder brace, super blue fluid and Axxis Ultimate pads. I've been happy with the brake performance with spirited street use (other than excessive pad dust on the wheels) and am wondering if my pads will hold up for 30 minute sessions on that course. Should I attempt it with the Axxis Ultimates or spring for some racing pads just for the day? I also want to be able to drive from Austin to Houston the day before. What would you guys suggest?
