Found many TTs for around 8-9k with 100k miles, but I looked at a 150k TT just for the heck of it and it was suprisingly clean. Completely stock. Paint was perfect except for a few chips on the hood and front nose panel, which is expected. Leather interior was near perfect, engine bay was clean, and stock wheels in perfect shape. It was owned for the past 8 years by an older guy and the 60 and 120k maintenance was done at a Nissan dealership. Also new shocks/springs, tires and brakes. To me it seems like he took good care of it. Assuming all oil changes were done on time(3k miles), would this be a good buy for $6000? The thing that concerns me the most is the turbos, obviously. Tuesday I am going to meet with the owner again and ride/ drive the car this time. I will have someone following in another car to watch for any smoke from the exhaust. Would it be a good idea to have it inspected somewhere? Z1 is pretty far away, since the car is in Athens, GA, so I don't know if that is practical. Should I run the ECU diagnostics? Would it be acceptable to have a dyno run done to verify engine condition?? Thanks for your help I WANT A TT!!!!
