Message	a new set the shields would come off and make that God forsaken rattle/scraping noise. I think I've tried all the different brands (up to a few years ago when I stopped skating), and every brand's different "levels" of bearings. The Shorty's ABEC3 ones lasted the longest, at maybe an hour and a half. But that was back when there were only two choices of ABEC3s...Shorty's and I believe Lucky brand.
