Message	it isn't bonded or stressed in tension whatsoever so it can't fail. The washer on top of the bushing stack is the failsafe, the mount structure has a 1.5" hole and cannot pull itself over the washer which is 2" OD. All of the reasons you listed as the pitfalls of your preference is why I am looking at this concept instead.
