| This is always the worse no matter what car. I mean the saying goes, "If they want it they'll get it". Still coming from Chicago and having almost every vehicle I've owned vandilazed in some way I take every precaution. I have the alarm that pages me and has motion detection for the inside (not just to sense a theif but because I like leaving the tops off when I go inside say to a restaurant) and about to get the Lo/Jack regardless of opinions for the Z and my motorcycle; I usually take the face of my radio inside (might not matter but so what) and I have tint to stop peeping eyes, stop ball bearings from shattering the glass as well as prevents a messy clean up. Still I also feel someone is always watching. So I don't "advertise" what I have. Maybe two blocks or sooner I turn the system down. I believe the "sleeper" theory applies even to prevent stuff like this. I don't want glowing stuff all over the place. Still even after all this as I started with, "If they want it, they'll get it". So I make it hard for the bitches. I'll never understand though why most car owners go through all the trouble of fixin' their ride up with thousands of dollars worth of parts and glitter stuff and can't spend maybe $600.00 on at least a well to do alarm system. (sigh) Not trying to point a finger at you especially you being the victim. Just we all know the story, right? Good fortune to you and recovery of your Z.
