Message Which doesn't even come in to play with the insurance companies. And it doesn't matter if the insurance adjuster rides a bike to work or drives a Ferrari - they go by what the book tells them (and to achieve the goal of paying out as little as possible so he can afford the payments on that Ferrari).

The best way to increase the payout is to have photos/receipts to show the added value that particular car had over any other Z. That's how it works....I did that when my 240Z was stolen in '86 and it helped the payout tremendously. I am confident the same rules apply 20 years later.
