| Message | DataScan, etc, are all devices that strap into the ECU via the OBD port and provide the connection/software to emulate a Nissan Consult device.   What I am proposing is analogous to your aftermarket boost gauge, aftermarket EGT gauges, aftermarket pressure gauges, aftermarket temperatures gauges, etc - stuff that the ECU doesn't provide data via the "consult" port - things the ECU doesn't see. Realistically, the information that the NProbe/DataScan/Conzult provide to an end user is limited in terms of what an enthusiast wants for their high-performance car.  Those devices are mostly catering to the diagnostic and repair of the engine control systems/sensors, etc - the device I am describing would provide data that someone owning a high-performance modified vehicle would want.... such as wideband data, EGT data,
