Message Yes, they do. But in THIS case, my point was made. He could have been using a breaker bar, a ratchet OR a torque wrench and still used the hoist to achieve his goal. Some of those tools could have been ruined in the process, but the eventual goal of popping the crank bolt would still have been attained. Gizmo just wanted to understand the basic idea. I answered his question.
