Message :I am considering upgrading to Tein coilovers for my 95 Z32. I am wondering if anyone has put them in can give me their comments on them. How is the ride compared to stock? Have they been worth the money? How difficult are the units and the EDFC to install?

I imported a set of the TEIN flex coilovers and EDFC from the US about 8 months ago and must say they are brilliant for the track and drags but pretty shit on the street (too hard) They can be setup well by corner weighing the car and adjusting the spring preload to help balance the car and improve chassis handling dramatically but it costs money and lots of it. So much so I am looking at purchasing my own corner weighing scales and gear to do it in house. Anyway back to the coilovers. The EDFC is great for the 2+2 you dont remove the trim panels to access the rear setup once fitted and you can program the EDFC for 32 steps rather than 16 as stock manual adjustment setup has. EDFC has the 4 pre-programmed setpoints which is brilliant and overall its a very effective system. Install is straight forward all wires clearly marked with what goes where. Only problem is there is a lot of them and finding hiding places for them is tough but achievable.

I am glad I got them awesome for track time.
