| Disclaimer: Regarding any building animosity about the Labree exhaust. I placed the order with COZ for this exhaust back at the end of October. At the time, I had absolutely no idea there was any split/fallout/ect. Between Labree and SpecialtyZ. In retrospect maybe I should have done a little more research but I didn’t have any idea about the previous posts. So please, keep the flaming to a minimum, thanks. 1st up……Accident pictures. Short story: New-yorker snowbird(I love tourists :) in a hummer H3 literally backed into my car. His insurance accepted liability, and cut me a check. The damage was fairly low and was contained to the Nose panel, Hood, and top of front fascia. The Nose panel and hood need to be replaced, the fascia just needs a little fill and paint. Headlight was fine, thank goodness.

New Type III front lip, scored a pretty good deal on these stillen parts from stealin themselves. I figured that the front of the car was getting repainted anyways, why not upgrade.
Test fit. I picked up a set of smoke corner lenses from Claude(Oppamanz) Thanks claude! These rock! I love the look now, don’t know how I lived with the stock ones for so long. Highly recommended. Install is a piece of cake, and it really improves the look of the car.
I Also got the louvered Nose panel from stillen. Fitment is not great, but it’ll do. There is a gap between the stock fascia and the bottom of the louvered panel. I did install/attach this piece by myself so it could be my error, though I have heard that this panel in urethane is a bit “off”. You can see the gap here. Hood gap is from the accident.
New Labree rear section 2.25 NA piping exhaust. Fitment is spot on, no problems, no crooked mufflers…nothing. Looks superb, adds some power too. Has an awesome sound. It is deep and rumbly(word?) from 1k-3.5k but after that it sounds much higher and mechanical. Noise level for this exhaust is just about perfect. I couldn't be happier with this product.
Here you can see where the piping bolts to the stock exhaust. I’ll pickup an X or H pipe in the future to complete the whole thing, just didn’t have the money at the time.
Bends for the 2+2 model.
New Fog lights with glare guard removed (highly recommended for 55w only, otherwise it’s too bright.)
The old, the very very cracked, yellowed, broken old.
The New
T-top finishers, new from COZ. My old ones had the vinyl about to fall off….probably from so much use. I use the T’s every chance I get, love the things.
New Hawk HPS pads. Anyone who’s switched to these from Axxis Ultimate? Will I feel a difference?
New stereo, Christmas gift from my Dad. Good ‘Ol tape deck down below. LOL, it still works quite well.
And last but not least. I came out of a movie the other nite to find this present waiting for me. No note, no info. Thanks buddy. The two blemishes on the hatch were also caused at that time. That is just condensation in the turn-signal portion. J-specs are in the near future :) as is a 3rd brake light.
Well that wraps it up. I’ll be sure to post some real pictures of the whole car after the bodywork and paint is done. Happy cruizing!
