to how fast the injector opens and closes. The faster it opens and closes, essentially the longer it is open, the higher the duty cycle , the more fuel flows. The slower it opens and closes, the less fuel, the lower the duty cycle. There is a maximum speed that an injector can open and close (based on alot of factors that I am not completely versed in) and that is 100% duty cycle. That is the maximum an injector can flow at a given psi. However, as you raise the base psi, the flow rate increases. So the flow rate is based on a given psi of the fuel system (in this case 3 bar).
