Message cryo treating changes the grain structure which does alter its size slightly (grows a tiny bit), just like any heat treatments.

However, the size difference will probably be on the order of a tenth of a thousandth of an inch. I doubt that will have any negative affect the transmission bearings, they are not super high precision bearings (ABEC-7, $700+ each, etc.). If anything, it might reduce the runout a bit.
