Message A friend of mine is shipping his Z from Yokohama to Canada. If I can manage to get my engine in a crate and get it to Yokohama, I can add it to his car crate. I could then pick it up when I get back to the states (after I transfer) and bring it across the border and back to my home. From there, a 2+2 conversion would be awesome. The only issues would be:
  • when the exact date will be of the shipment
  • how to get it to Yokohama
  • how much it will cost to get it to Yokohama
  • how much it will cost to add it to my friend's shipment
  • how to get it boxed up in a crate in the first place
  • where to store it in Canada while I am in Japan
  • is there enough room in the crate?
  • will it surpass the weight limit for the crate with an added engine?

My only other dilemma is that the Auto Hobby Shop is about to move all the stored parts outside in about a week or two. That means my engine will be exposed to the elements after that time. If I can't bring it back, I'd rather tear it down before it gets the rain and such. Decisions, decisions.
