Message density than austenite. Bulk density change by the rule of ad-mixtures would suggest dimensional change although this is denied by those who perform the surface.

I'd be more concerning with lowering the fracture toughness. Although this is often denied too...

Cliff's- Beware of snake oil. On the bright side, it would make the parts harder. :)
