| I revently took apart a 4 k old motor with a light tapping that had the same exact problem in #3. It DOES have a reground crank. The motor was gently used. The rest were withen tolerence and looked almost perfect. Crank measurements were dead on accurate. My guess is improper polishing of the crank on that journal.Incorrect grit or wrong direction of polishing - Anyhow i have never built a motor with a ground crank and this just reinforces my decision.
