: lot of ppl gripe about the Metal Master pads, but then a lot of ppl like them. Were several complaints about them sucking when cold, squeling, etc. Can you guys please give me your recomendations? : Many thanks,: Mike You can't have your cake and eat it - high performance pads are like adjustable camshaft sprockets. The cams can be set for low, mid, OR high end power, but you'll lose low, mid, or high end power depending on the setting (ie more high end power at the expense of low end). With aftermarket semi-metallic pads, you get a higher coefficient rating which increases the temperature rating of the pad, but cold stops aren't as effective compared to stock pads. All you need to do is pump the pedal once and the pad will bite better first thing in the morning. If my mom and her Accord can use Axxis Metal Master pads so can you and your Z :)
