Message Shipping at times can cause problems at fault of the shipping company and NOT on negligence on the seller or buyer.

However, doesn't the responsibility to replace/refund the product fall on the hands of the seller rather than the buyer? I believe it is the seller's responsibility for the product until it is delivered. And when I mean delivered, I mean all parts and in working order as was negotiated. The buyer cannot be held responsible since he completed his part of the transaction (sending the money).

This is the reason why cash money is not sent through the mail. Hypothetical situation, reversing the roles of the buyer/shipper: Buyer sent cash money in an envelope but some of it "fell out" along the way. I doubt any of you would say that its the post office's fault and the seller is just out of luck...Once again "hypothetical situation" to illustrate a point. Think about it...
