| I was just curious if anybody has ever compared the manual vs. auto cams in their Z's. I dont want to know differences and specs, just wondering if anybody has ever done this and noticed a difference in spool up time or performance. When my motor went last year, I ordered a JDM motor that came from a auto tranny. I swapped the manual turbos but left in the auto cams, figuring its not worth the hassle of swapping. I've noticed that my spool up time is next to nothing and I'm fully spooled at around 3k rpm's.
I've also pulled on Z's with same exact mods. Has anybody ever done testing with same setup, just swapping the cams?
