I bought a 79 St. Regis for $50 at an auction. Put maybe $300 in parts into over 5 years and 60,000 miles. Best money I ever spent aside from the $15 I paid for the Plymouth wagon. If you're lookin for dirt cheap, easy to fix and pretty isn't a requirement Detroit iron is the way to go.
They call them beaters for a reason. ;)
