| If the best design requires you to stamp new pans you should, if not its just for the bling right? :) A well stripped, properly welded/modified, and properly re-coated pan should speak for itself. Is it a raw zinc coating or will that be conversion coated? While its hard to say not having seen the extent of your changes, I would expect a fully fabricated pan to run many many times more in small volume. With the tightness of fit, number of features to encorporate, repeatability, etc etc. I would imagine you'd have to invest big $$$ in sheet press tooling. [Big internet high five!] I recall you discussing this and I'm glad your actively pursuing it. Can't wait to see what you turn out.

Daily driving a TT is like ordering your favorite pizza for breakfast lunch and dinner. It's not healthy and eventually you will lose the magic of the meal. Sometimes you just have to have some meatloaf. My new meatloaf.... 1994 Black Honda Civic DX :D "...people often mistake charisma for integrity. Sure, he's a nice guy, but that doesn't necessarily make him honest (or dishonest). They are independent variables." -Kenny |
