As already stated, do most of your homework on a car audio forum. The best systems I've heard in the 300ZX, as well as other cars, are two channel systems. I would not bother with rear speakers. Spend your money on a good quality pair of speakers that are matched to the power of your amp. I would recommend coaxial speakers with a separate passive crossover or a set of components. DO NOT MOUNT YOUR TWEETERS ON THE UPPER DOOR OR DASH. A decent 10" sub in a sealed box with plenty of power and a quality headunit are all a good place to start.
