| Eclipse and alpine I believe are supposed to be the better brand for head units available on the market. Definately not sony for anything (i.e. head unit or speakers) they are more for aesthetics than for sound quality. I have an eclipse in my car but i've installed both and was happy with the output. If you are going to replace your speakers, I'd recommed JL Audio VR's. Not too pricey and sound really great. They don't have that high pingy sound that pierce ears too that some of the higher models have. All depends on your budget and what you're looking for exactly (i.e. complete system with a sub)
