| a 10" wide wheel with a 285 tire will NOT work with the wide fenders. I know you may think it would work since you can fit 275s up front without even widening the fenders, but the thing is that since you are now wider up front, the width of the fenders is not the clearance issue, but instead it is the height of the tire. I'll attempt to explain. When you turn your wheel with stock front fenders, the wheel moves a little forward when turned one way and it moves a little back when moved the other way. Now...when you widen the front fenders and move the wheel out farther from where it was stock, the wheel now moves farther forward and farther back when turned causing the wheel to rub the fender liners ect if you go with too tall of a tire (ect is 285/30/19). You could remove them though if you wanted, but I like to keep ALL liners ect on the car cause it keeps it more complete looking IMO. The rear is MUCH simple than this...you go wider...you can fit wider tires..pretty strait forward, but when it comes to the front, going wider does not always mean going with wider tires...unless our front fenders had very large wheel wells, which they do not. Sadly, the widest tires that are actually made that I can fit with my wheels being 20mm farther out in front than they could be with a stock fender is either 265/30/19 or 315/25/19 (made by pirelli, but honestly, it is actually a little too small of a tire IMO and is actually shorter than even a 245/30/19, so it could look a little goofy). Kinda sucks, but really if you think about it, 265 is plenty of tire for up front, and that up front and 355s in the rear will be just fine after getting the suspension all dialed in. The main reason I did the "widebody" thing to my car was not b/c of looks (even though I do love it), despite what people might think, it was so that I could fit massive tires under my car and actually have it hook up in the rear when I have my built motor...obviously though, there was a drawback with widening the front ( unless you run the 315s..but like I said, it could look weird), but I didn't run into that or even know about it until after doing the work, and I can deal with it and it isn't a big deal. Just get 265/30/19s for the front and 355/25/19s in the back, and be done with it..you'll be happy...or if you do want to fit larger tires..maybe a 275 then you can acheive that by having the front tire not as far out as mine ( might look goofy though). Another thing, I KNOW you do know you can talk to me about your WB stuff...I've been there and done that twice with the Z, and now going on a third time (you know what I'm talking about)..this time with another car though thank god right haha.
