| install and even had a big say in the design of the Weisco pistons that are in the motor. When we checked my compression..(mine and The devils Z at the same time/same engine builder/pistons,etc) both of our engines were reading 122-127 for the compression test. I was under the impression that this was a piston design for "LOWER COMPRESSION" to run higher boost levels w/ the trade off being the off boost grunt compensated by the displacement. Nonetheless,I have'nt checked my compression lately and the motor was still pretty new at the time..(under 2K miles) but I would like to get a definite answer to what the compression should be on a built motor that was bored out to .040 over stock. That being said...I have no issues with my motor and it runs like a top from day to day....(excellent job Ash!) and it seems bulletproof...knock on wood... but getting back to the topic....what should my compression be??....lol Rob D.
