Message	drilling standards are so tight, environmental side-effects are just about nill nowadays. To say drilling kills the environment is just propaganda. Yes we need to develop alternatives, but that takes time... so in the mean time why shouldn't we tap into the HUGE reserves of oil that we have? Your fine paying $3/gallon go for it... Im not. And I dont want to drive a damn electric car either.
