Message I am currently in the process of making my 2.5" intercooler piping (I decided to go with aluminum piping due to the weight, no chance of rusting and the cost compared to SS)

I am thinking now would be a good time to mount some HKS flanges onto the hardpipes.

I obviously cannot put them on the TB hardpipes due to my secondary balance tube (water injection will also be going here).

So I would like to put them on the compressor OUTLET (circled in red)

Wouldn't this be better than having them at the TB pipes?

Because the vacuum is what pulls the BOVs open and if it is closer to the turbo, it would cause less stress on the compressor wheels.

Would I have any downfalls to mounting them here? Besides them not being as loud, due to being in the engine bay instead of outside the engine bay as stock? (Not really caring about the loudness though)

Here is a picture of where the stock location is..

Please give me your inputs. I would rather mount them on the hardpipes because it would be easier to do. I just was unsure about my current thought of placing them on the OUTLET pipes. I usually see them mounted on the inner pipes.

Thanks,

NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture. Setting up the timer, shutter speed etc, then jumping on my bike and getting the tire to spin.
