| Message | There were times when I needed to spend money or work on it, but thankfully I lived on a campus that didn't require me to drive ever...  so I was never hard-pressed to get the car fixed or work on it.  I guess it depends on your college and how much you'll really be daily driving the car. I think banking some money and buying a car that is super low maintenance is a good idea though.  Especially one that if dinged, hit, or scratched...  you won't be as upset as with the Z.
