| Message | I have a 90 TT with it's share of problems. I bought the car mainly on impulse. It really was a good deal. I knew there would be problems, but more and more things have gone wrong with it since I've gotten it. I am going to college next year. I am in need of money but I love my Z and am willing to spend money on fixing it, but my parents aren't as willing as me. I want to daily drive it now, then fix it up after college. The problem is, just upkeep is extremely expensive. I am thinking of trading this for a n/a just because of the reliability issue and was wondering if that would be a good choice. I know it would be lacking in speed, but my TT isn't really in good enough condition to push right now, and I'm not in any financial position to fix it. So my question is, if I found a stock n/a with fairly low miles, would it be worth it to trade, or should I just keep the TT and daily drive it for now then fix it after college? My main worry is that an N/A that I would be able to trade even for would have it's share of problems too. I am looking for someone with an N/A that is looking to buy a TT that they can fix up or learn to work on. The only problems are the synchros(i think, grinds going into second gear), the power steering pump (whines like mad, not low on fluid), exhaust leaks, needs new hardpipes, new vaccum lines, could use a new ptu, lifter tick on the first cyl pass side, and I'm pretty sure that's it. I know those problems don't seem like much but they are for someone in my position. Those problems plus my dad keeps putting me on a guilt trip because I've spent so much money on it when I should be saving for college.
 Thanks for all your help!
