Message In most states, laser jammers are still legal. In Illinois they are illegal, but they can't pull you over for suspicion of having one.

So the only way they could bust you for it in Illinois is to pull you over for something else (but they won't get you on speeding with the Blinder system) and see that you have it (which they won't, because it goes in your front grill and is relatively hidden). Even if they were to find it, it's only a $50 fine for the first offense.

As for the headlights (and fog lights, side markers, and front plates)... 3M clear bras won't help. Veil brand coating is the only thing that'll help you there, and all that does is reduce the effective range of LIDAR, not eliminate its ability entirely.

However, if you have the Blinder laser jammer, it is 100% effective, so using the Veil coating is almost pointless.

My plan is to get the Blinder, leave it on, and when I get a laser warning, turn it off after quickly slowing down. The desired result is that the cop will think it was an error on his part or in the gun, and not suspect that I have a jammer.

All the information about this is available in the link I provided in my first response to this thread (the third main response), if you're interested in learning all the details.

Putting eBay "performance" parts on your Nissan 300ZX is like putting Pep Boys wheels on your Cadillac Escalade... even people on welfare know better.
