Well, I've given them all the opportunity in the world and I guess they just don't care about my business. I wanted to get some downpipes for the TT when I put the engine in last weekend. I called around and Got Rice? and Arnel both pointed me to Guy @ Speedlab to get their new dp's. I called Guy up and everything was great. I had 3 weeks before the engine was going in and he said he had them in stock and ready to go. I gave him all my info and he said they would ship out. I got back from Paris a week later and waited a couple of extra days. Still no pipes. I called Guy up and he said he was glad I called. My credit card didn't go through because he got the number down wrong and he didn't have my phone number to contact me. No big deal. Still had a week and a half. He asked me if I could call back in 30 minutes to give him the info because he was really busy. No prob. Called back, he was still busy and asked if he could call me before the end of the day to get the info. Fine. No call. I called the next morning and finally he took the info down and said he would ship everything out. This is Wedesday a week before the engine was going in. He said he would ship UPS Ground and it would be there by the following Friday no problems. The next Tuesday I call just to check on things. Guy tells me DIRECTLY on the phone that they shipped out on Friday w/ gaskets for my 2.5" test pipes. No problems. I'm cool with everything so far. Thursday comes and I call to ask for a tracking number just to check the progress. He asks me to call back after 4pm when his girl that does the shipping is there. I said OK, but then forgot to call back. My bad. Friday, D-Day, engine going in the next day. Gotta have the stuff. Nothing shows up. I call SpeedLab. Surprise, Guy is on a trip. The two ding-a-lings that are there screw around and take my info but don't know jack shit about what's going on. Fair enough, I've never talked to them before. I call back two more times and they still don't know but will call me back. I hang up and call UPS. Based on my home address they have NOTHING in their system ANYWHERE that is destined to come to me. I hop online and check my credit card. NOTHING has been charged. So what's the net out of this situation? Guy LIED to me when he told me the stuff shipped out. It never did. He never even charged my card. I DID NOT get the down pipes. Luckily Mal1ce was kind enough to give me his DSP 3" DP's to put on my car and I'll replace them for him later, so the engine was still able to go back in on time. Otherwise I would've been screwed. All of this was TEN (10) days ago. To date I have not received any more communication from SpeedLab regarding this total fiasco. Just thought you guys would like to know. I would file this under bogus service and will never attempt to do business with them again personally.
