Message Like others are saying, it depends... I personally like deep socket because it can handle any nut/bolt, but you really need both. There are some times where you can't wedge a socket wrench/breaker bar/torque wrench/impact wrench into a spot to get onto the bolt with a deep socket. Example: Ever tried removing rear hubs on a Z? Anyone who has knows how ridiculous it is getting to all of those bolts. With a deep socket, the wrench won't fit, but in other situations a regular socket won't go down over a bolt to loosen the nut. I'm rambling, I'ma GTFO while I'm ahead.
