Message	yeah 55 W is fine. But check the rating at to it is probably rated at 14.4 VDC and an 8V input... you need to see what your Alpine deck puts out. If it only puts out 1V, it's going to be even more distorted and less power. There's alot of things to look at and many ways that places can twist the #'s
